Online Silent Auction

During this season of giving, CMHRA is holding a silent auction to raise funds for the SHRM Foundation and the United Way of Androscoggin County.

From the auction proceeds, the first $150 will go to SHRM Foundation to support HR professionals. https://www.shrm.org/foundation/about/Pages/about-us.aspx

All funds raised above $150 will be donated to our local United Way and CMHRA will match the United Way donation up to $500. https://www.unitedwayandro.org/

We are still accepting items to auction if you are interested in making a donation. Not sure what to donate?

  • If you are an artist or crafter: paintings, framed photographs, knit or crocheted items, wood arts/crafts, seasonal decorations, etc.
  • Do you have a time share or camp you can donate for the lucky, high-bidder to take a trip?
  • Can you purchase a gift card(s) to local merchants/restaurants?
  • Do you have unused/gently used items from your home that you no longer need but someone else might purchase? A table, a lamp, games, cookware, pottery, etc.
  • Do you have signed memorabilia, books, artwork?
  • Maybe you can offer a service: a homecooked and delivered meal, home decorating assistance, baked goods, musical talents for a function, nutrition counseling, physical fitness coach, Photoshop lessons, etc.
  • Do you have tickets to an upcoming sporting event that you won’t be using?
  • The sky is the limit…if you think people will buy it, you can donate it.
